BBT Charting Method
for Getting Pregnant

To perform BBT charting method, you would need to have a thermometer and a fertility chart. Of course, to work this method, you'll also need a great deal of patience and discipline which you can't possibly purchase from anywhere else in the world.

But motherhood is calling you. You do want a baby, don't you?

Yeah, so grit your teeth and bear with the inconvenience, visualize that happy day when you'll finally cuddle your baby in your arms.

basal body temperature - digital thermometer
Now what do you need to do? First of all, get a basal thermometer specially designed to measure your body temperature. An ordinary mercury thermometer won't do the job as well. Those used for common fevers are just not fine-tuned enough for this type of precision measurement.

You see, a basal body thermometer is different from a fever thermometer in that it registers your temperature in tenths of degrees or 0.1 degree increments. A fever thermometer on the other hand records temperature in 0.2 degree increments.

Now, you have the choise of getting a glass or digital BBT thermometer. The difference between them is that the digital ones will show your temperature faster.

You will need to keep your thermometer and your BBT chart by your bedside. You are not supposed to get out of bed in the morning before measuring your temperature. Flout this rule and all your prior hard work will go down the drain.
